Ready for Ten publishes independent buying guides designed to help readers make informed decisions. Our editorial standards are built around accuracy, transparency, and usefulness, so you can trust that our recommendations are based on research and testing rather than outside influence.
This page explains how we create content, how we handle updates and corrections, and how we manage potential conflicts of interest. If you have a question about our work or spot an error, you can contact us using the details below.
Independence
Our editors choose the products we cover. Brands cannot pay to be included, to change a score, or to review an article before publication. If a brand sends us a sample, we disclose that in the relevant review and evaluate it in the same way we assess products we purchase ourselves.
Who writes and reviews our content
Every guide shows its author, and where relevant, the person who reviewed or tested the products. Author pages list each contributor’s experience and areas of expertise. Karl D. McGrath is the editor responsible for all published content.
How we research and test
We verify facts using manufacturer documentation, published specifications, and our own testing where applicable. Our goal is to make recommendations that are practical, clear, and based on evidence.
Accuracy and corrections
We check our content carefully, but mistakes can still happen. When they do, we correct them promptly and note the correction in the article when appropriate.
Updates
Our guides are reviewed on a regular schedule. When a guide is meaningfully updated — for example, with new picks, new testing, or changes in price or availability — we update the date and summarise what changed. Minor edits such as typos do not change the date.
Use of AI
We may use software tools to help with research, outlining, or proofreading. However, every recommendation, test result, and opinion is created by people, and every article is edited and checked by a person before publication.
How we make money
We earn commissions from some links on the site. This never affects which products we recommend or how we rank them. For more information, see our affiliate disclosure.
